Approach

A global reading of wealth

Arius does not start from a product, but from a situation. The firm's method is to understand a client's wealth as a whole before recommending anything — because a sound wealth decision is, first of all, a decision placed in its context.

The starting point

A situation, before any solution

Every engagement begins with careful listening and analysis. Arius seeks to understand the situation in its entirety: the family, the business, the assets, the tax position, the legal organisation, the objectives, the constraints, the time horizon, the countries involved, the transmission plans, the acceptable level of risk.

From this understanding comes a diagnosis: areas of fragility, possible inconsistencies between existing structures and the objectives pursued, and structuring opportunities that have not yet been seized.

Only once this framework has been defined does Arius support the client in selecting appropriate solutions — and, where the situation requires it, coordinate their usual advisers: notaries, lawyers, accountants, private banks, insurers, asset managers.

The method

Five movements, one standard of care

01

Understand

Everything begins with your situation, told as a whole. Your family and entrepreneurial history, your assets, your structures, your constraints and your plans form the raw material of Arius's work. This phase takes the time it deserves.

02

Clarify

Understanding becomes diagnosis. Arius highlights the strengths of the existing organisation, its areas of fragility, its possible inconsistencies and the questions that deserve to be settled. You then have a consolidated, prioritised view of what is at stake.

03

Structure

On this basis, the firm builds the wealth framework with you: how assets are held, how private and business wealth fit together, how the family and the business owner are protected, how transmission is prepared. Strategy comes before solutions — never the other way round.

04

Select

Solutions — investment wrappers, vehicles, policies, structures — are examined and selected in the light of the agreed framework, your risk profile and your time horizon. Every instrument retained must earn its place in the whole.

05

Follow through

Wealth is a living thing: situations evolve, laws change, plans come to fruition. Arius provides long-term follow-up, regularly revisits the strategy with you and remains the point of coordination for your important wealth decisions.

Commitment

Transparency and alignment of interests.

Arius attaches particular importance to transparency regarding its terms of engagement and remuneration. Depending on the nature of the assignment, the firm may work on a fee basis, in particular for a wealth audit, a structuring assignment, family-office-style support or long-term wealth follow-up.

Where financial, insurance or wealth solutions are examined or implemented, the remuneration arrangements, the possible existence of commissions or retrocessions, and whether the investment advice is provided on an independent or non-independent basis are set out in the regulatory documents provided to the client.

This transparency makes it possible to adapt the scope of the assignment to the client's expectations, the complexity of their situation and the level of support they are seeking. The terms of engagement are defined according to the nature of the assignment, the client's expectations and the applicable regulatory framework.
